Social Action
Social Action
The UJC has a long and honored history of involvement in social action and justice initiatives.
During the harsh winter months, UJC members staff one of the Danbury overflow shelters; we participate in community-wide service at the Dorothy Day Hospitality House, and, with funding from the Rabbi Robert J. Levine Tikah Fund, provide support for community and national programs.
Please contact the UJC office for information.
