Brotherhood
UJC Brotherhood - What We do
The Brotherhood fosters social interaction and service to the UJC among its members. Our dues are used to subsidize member events and to provide contributions to support other UJC activities. We also partner with the Sisterhood to sponsor events for the entire UJC community. Social events include the very popular Brotherhood breakfasts and brunches, and the Annual Dinner.
Sporting events included an annual Super Bowl Party. We recently built a Pickleball court for use by members.
The Brotherhood frequently provides its manpower to assist other UJC activities. We serve lunch for the kids at the Purim carnival and run some of the games.
The Brotherhood also hosts an annual Friday night Shabbat Service, where members lead the prayers and add a special segment.
We encourage all men of the UJC to join the Brotherhood by contacting Neil Friedman at Brotherhood@unitedjewishcenter.org
