Shalom,
and thank you for your interest in the United Jewish Center! We are delighted and honored that you are considering joining our congregational family.
For more than 90 years, the UJC has been the spiritual home for Jews of all ages, genders, traditions, and backgrounds in the Greater Danbury area. Whether yours is an interfaith family or not, we know you will find a community that is warm, inclusive, respectful, and loving.
As the UJC's rabbi and cantor, we are committed to meeting the varied needs of our congregants, reaching from celebrating joyous moments to giving support in times of struggle and challenge. Our goal is to help you find your place in the Jewish world as you explore and find comfort in your relationship to the Jewish community and God.
You are heartily invited to join us for our weekly Shabbat services, to have your children try out classes in our religious school, or to attend some of the many other activities of our congregation. Also, please feel free to reach out to us to learn more about our synagogue family. We look forward to getting to know you better.
Best wishes, l'shalom,
Cantor Penny Kessler
