Dear UJC Parents and Students,
I am so delighted to welcome you back and share my excitement for the coming year of 5766/2005-06. I look forward to a rewarding year of accomplishment and enrichment with our Director of Education Daryl Bain, our consultant Ruth Gruber, Cantor Kessler and our entire Religious School faculty.
Of course, as we all know, supplementary Religious School is just that – a supplement to a Jewish home, not a substitute. We will depend upon you and the atmosphere you establish in order for all of us to succeed.
Your input to me is always important and welcome. Our children are our future and the emotional and educational foundation that we provide for them is a signal of our pride in our past and confidence in tomorrow. May the coming year of 5766 not merely be a year of renewal, but a year of rewarding and meaningful achievement for us all.
