Daryl Bain

Daryl Bain, our Director of Education, ensures that our school runs smoothly. Daryl supervises all staff and works with members of the Religious School Committee on social action, family programs, and professional development. She maintains all administrative records and related materials, and plans and coordinates educational and family events, such as a Tallit Project, High Holy Day children's programming and Passover Model Seders. Prior to joining the United Jewish Center, Daryl worked in various administrative positions for eight years. In addition to being a former member of the Board of Trustees, her synagogue involvement has included the Sisterhood Board, fund development, Bagels and Babies, Fashion Show Committee, Auction Committee, and others. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Education (with a minor in Educational Psychology) from Oneonta State University. Daryl lives in Brookfield with her husband Joe and children Ilyssa, Jessica, and Rebecca.
