This year's annual meeting will be held on November 22, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Heyman Auditorium. There will be election of officers and Board of Trustee members and our 2010 budget will be presented. Of course, there will be refreshments served. Please mark your calendar!

What does everyone really want for the holidays - Scrip (gift cards) to buy what they like (in stores or online).
It doesn't cost you anything to buy from us. UJC makes a percentage from each card purchase ranging from 4% to 14%.

Overflow Homeless Shelter volunteers
We are also looking for volunteers to man our Overflow Homeless Shelter located at the First Congregational Church on West Street, Danbury. Do a Mitzvah in your sleep! The UJC and IGive.com have teamed up to make it easy for you to support the UJC -- and it doesn't cost you a penny!

At UJC we use Mazon funds locally for the meals we serve at Dorothy Day supplemented by the Tikvah Fund. Please consider contributing a percentage of your Passover food purchases to our Jewish response to hunger fund, Mazon.
Remember those less fortunate!
Don't forget to donate your used cell phones and toiletries for use at the Women's Center and Interfaith Aids Center. Leave them at the bottom of the staircase at the UJC and we will deliver them for you!
