Help Chad Move!

Chad Sinanian has the opportunity to move to a better apartment in his building off Main Street, near I84 exit 5, behind Hertz Rental Cars. We just need to move his furniture and belongings from his second floor apartment, down one flight of steps, to his new first floor apartment.

Chad now has to move on Sunday, February 4. This is Superbowl Sunday but we are meeting at 9:00 AM so we should be done a long time before any Superbowl festivities. Please contact Art Prager at Prager@us.ibm.com if you can help.

You're invited to a wedding!

The Sisterhood and Brotherhood are proud to announce the wedding of Sheila Matilda Schwartzbergerfieldmanstein to Poindexter Paul Plotka on Saturday, February 24, at 7:00 p.m. Your invitation will be in the December Shofar. If you want to sit closer to the bride's table (or further from it), you can print out your invitation and send it in sooner.

Taste of Torah: Bo – Exodus 10:1-13:16

This translation was taken from the JPS Tanakh

Exodus 10:21-23

21 Then the Lord said to Moses, "Hold out your arm toward the sky that there may be darkness upon the land of Egypt, a darkness that can be touched." 22 Moses held out his arm toward the sky and thick darkness descended upon all the land of Egypt for three days. 23 People could not see one another, and for three days no one could get up from where he was; but all the Israelites enjoyed light in their dwellings.
