UJC Brotherhood Newsletter -- April 2006

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!

Annual Dinner. Join us on Thursday, April 27 at 6:30, at Two Steps Restaurant in downtown Danbury, same as last year. We have reserved their upstairs private room, and will have a buffet dinner, at a cost of only $11 per person, for Brotherhood members only. Cash bar. Please respond via e-mail if you can join us.

Annual dues. Our Treasurer, Geoff Ingalls, has begun sending out bills for 2006 Brotherhood dues. Please send your check back to Geoff when you receive the bill. It is only $36, tax deductible, and allows us to fund a variety of programs, such as religious school and summer camp scholarships, presents to Bar/Bat Mitzvah and Confirmation students, and help with various other UJC needs.

Treasure Hunt Dinner, May 6 at 6:30 PM. Join the Brotherhood and Sisterhood for a fun filled evening. You should see details at the synagogue, or via other e-mail notices.

Renegades Baseball. See the Hudson Valley Renegades versus the Lowell Red Sox on Sunday, August 13th at 5:05pm. Everything is the same as last year. We will have a picnic in the right field pavilion and then go to our seats. The picnic consists of hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, salads, watermelon and beverages. The cost is $20 per person. The gates open at 4:00pm for the picnic. Please RSVP to Alan Wunsch by sending a check made payable to "UJC Brotherhood" for $20 per ticket and send to Alan Wunsch, 1403 Pinnacle Way, Danbury, CT, 06811.
