MARK YOUR CALENDARS!

We're planning a group outing to a RENEGADES minor league baseball game, with an included pre-game picnic, on August 14.. For those of you who have never been there, it's about 40 minutes away, right off I84 in Beacon, NY. Families are invited. The Hudson Valley Renegades (Tampa Bay Devil Rays) will play the New Jersey Cardinals (St. Louis Cardinals) minor league baseball (New York - Penn League) at 5:11pm. Gates open at 4:11pm for our picnic which lasts 1.5 hours and then we sit in our right field seats. Tickets and picnic are $15 per person and parking is $3 per car. The games usually last about three hours and there is a children's playground. We've ordered 25 tickets with the ability to go as high as 50 as long as tickets are available. Checks should be made payable to Brotherhood and sent to Alan Wunsch. Please send in your checks to reserve a seat, and so we can determine if we need to buy more seats, while they are still available. I KNOW THIS IS NOT UNTIL AUGUST, BUT IT WOULD BE APPRECIATED IF YOU COULD MAKE A COMMITMENT NOW, AS THE GAMES THERE USUALLY SELL OUT, AND WE NEED TO KNOW WHETHER TO BUY MORE TICKETS

PAST EVENTS:

Thanks to David Gilman, we enjoyed a fascinating presentation on May 15, in the last of our Sunday breakfasts until the fall. David moderated a worksession on maximizing interpersonal relationships, and understanding your own interpersonal style. We talked about how, once you understand your own style, and the style of others with whom you interact, you can work to modify that style, so as to improve communications and influence others.

During the 2004-05 season, we've sponsored events that have ranged from breakfasts to a hockey game to removing the pews in the chapel. As we start to plan the 2005-06 season, we welcome your comments, and thank you for your ongoing participation and support.
